My Personal Computer’s Hard Disks

I have two hard disks in my PC. One is Maxtor 40GB hard disk while the other one is an older Quantum 20GB hard disk. Both of them had just been re-formatted, again, due to..what else….if not virus. Damn virus…never fails to make me waste considerable amount of times just hunting for them.
I will be spending my weekend re-installing and configuring everything on my PC. The tasks are not particularly hard for me but the sheer amount of time it takes to get it done is just unbelievable. I hope everything will be back to normal by Monday.
Have you ever had to reinstall your system for whatever reason?
